How Brikxsol handles personal information across this website and Waste Pilot CRM.
Last updated: 3 October 20261. Who is responsible
Brikxsol is responsible for personal information collected through this website and for its own operation of Waste Pilot CRM. The specific Brikxsol contracting details and customer support contact appear on the applicable order, invoice or account workspace.
2. Information we collect
We may collect contact and business details, enquiry messages, account and authorised-user details, service usage and security logs, subscription and invoice details, and limited transaction information returned by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Waste Pilot customers may enter information about their own customers, staff, drivers, sites, vehicles, jobs and waste movements. The Waste Pilot customer controls that operational data; Brikxsol processes it to provide and secure the product.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, set up and administer accounts, provide contracted services, process and reconcile payments, issue receipts, prevent fraud, maintain security, improve reliability, meet legal duties and establish or defend legal claims.
Our lawful bases may include taking steps before a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business. Where consent is required, it can be withdrawn for future processing.
4. Payments through Stripe
Stripe processes Waste Pilot subscription payments for Brikxsol. Payment information is sent directly to Stripe, which may use personal information to process transactions, prevent fraud and meet financial-services obligations under its own privacy notice. We receive transaction identifiers, payment status, card type and limited card details such as the last four digits where made available.
5. Stripe Connect
Waste Pilot may use Stripe Connect to let a customer create or connect a Stripe account and receive payments from that customer’s own customers. Stripe may collect legal name, date of birth, contact details, business and ownership information, government-issued identification, tax information and bank or payout details directly during onboarding and ongoing verification.
Stripe may share connected-account identifiers, verification and capability status, requirements, balances, charges, refunds, disputes, transfers and payout information with Brikxsol. We use connected-account data to provide enabled payment features, display transaction and payout status, calculate disclosed platform fees, reconcile activity, provide support, prevent misuse, meet our obligations to Stripe and comply with law.
Depending on the payment configuration selected, Brikxsol may use Stripe Connect to create or update the connected account and initiate or manage payments, refunds, transfers or payouts on the customer’s behalf. The applicable product interface and terms describe this activity. Stripe separately controls its verification, risk, processing and payout services under the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe privacy notice.
6. Sharing information
We may share information with hosting, infrastructure, communications, support, analytics, accounting and payment providers where necessary to operate our services. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where legally required. Providers are given only the information reasonably needed for their role.
7. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual protections.
8. Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, the customer relationship, security, dispute resolution and applicable legal or accounting requirements. Payment providers may retain financial and identity-verification information for longer periods under their own legal duties. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information, object to certain processing, receive portable data, and complain to a data-protection authority. In the UK, complaints may be made to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Stripe handles requests relating to information for which Stripe acts independently under its own privacy notice.
10. Cookies and site data
This site may use essential storage needed for security and operation. If optional analytics or advertising cookies are introduced, they should not be activated until the required information and consent controls are presented.
11. Contact and updates
Use our contact page for privacy enquiries. Waste Pilot customers can also use the support details in their order confirmation or account workspace. We may update this notice as our services or legal duties change; the latest version is identified by the date above.
